Food Security

I wish to add some info here on Food security and the importance of Raw foodism.But dont have the time due to planning applicatin refusals/Appeals12/07/10.

Same goes for the rest of our research on this site,we hope to get up to adte with it in due course.Sorry!

Calendula officinalis.

Uses:Anticeptic & antifungal.Internally to stimulate the liver.A Salve to promote healing on cuts,grazes & spots.As a gargle for mouth & throat infections.Petals yeild a soothing eyewash.Add flowers to salads,rice& fish.

Moorpark Apricots.

 Delicious soft sweet(Sugar) fruit, the Kernel is edible(Fat).Sugar & fat in one package.The Hunzas ,one of the longest lived tribes on earth are world renowned for their diet of Apricots.The Apricot contains specific compounds that work to repair the prostrate.Many people have healed themselves of prostrate cancer naturally by introducing them into their diet.

For three years now we have grown 20 varieties of Organic potatoes at Karuna.

We are never without them as they keep the whole year in a cooling storage shed.

Strawberies were profuse this year(2010)layers of clusters piled up o

n top of eachother forming a ground cover against weeds whilst providing a nutriciuos crop.Non organic suppermarket Strawberies are the most heavily sprayed crop of them all, being sprayed with 302lbs of pesticides per acre.
