Fee : £260 to £324, Sliding scale (pay what you can afford according to your income) includes all meals.

Food: 3 meals a day will be provided as well as hot/cold drinks, food will be nutritious, vegetarian and fresh – using organic produce grown at karuna whenever possible
The Project we’ll be working is the Cider house at Karuna Insight design, building in cordwood and shingles. The small cider house will be build onto the North side of an impressive, existing real life, large scale strawbale roundhouse.
A rare opportunity to get involved and pick up some new skills in Low impact building.
Woodmaster and eco builder Mark Arbon is the craftsman who carried out all the specialist carpentry work on the strawbale roundhouse at Karuna. Responsible for building the intricate upstand as well as the sole and wall plates which form the ‘Magic ring’ which give the loadbearing structure it amazing strength and integrity.
Janta is self-taught in the art of Cordwood building and other natural build skills.
