PERMACULTURE….

… is a holistic approach to landscape design and human culture

… integrates people into Nature’s design

…is the harmonious integration of the landscape with people providing their food, energy, shelter and other material and non-material needs in a sustainable way

…. a system for sustainable living on Earth that benefits all creatures and supplies all the needs of humanity

… is applied science and ecology

…ethical design of human systems for a sustainable future

…offers practical solutions to the global environmental and cultural crises we now face

Fionn Quinlan (AUS) & Laura Quinlan (UK) are international permaculture designers and practitioners based in Sub-tropical Northern New South Wales, where they are developing a 21 acre site into an abundant, multifaceted farm-garden. Together they have experience working in tropical, sub-tropical, cool and cold temperate climates. They have worked and studied with many internationally renowned permaculture practitioners, including co-creator of the Permaculture concept, David Holmgren and pioneers Geoff Lawton, Robyn Francis, Robin Clayfield.

With over a decade of experience, their teaching methodology and educational approach has been applied and developed in countries such as India, Ghana, Cambodia, Australia and the UK, with their central theme being emancipatory education, or educational empowerment.

Fionn & Laura and presently managing Djaning farm an emerging permaculture demonstration site in Australia, their project is neighbouring Geoff Lawton's Permaculture Research Institute,  they had a system of earth works installed by Geoff Lawton's crew  as well as plenty of advice.
