Permaculture is the art of making beneficial relationships between ourselves and nature, of living a rich life that doesn't cost the earth. This introduction to Permaculture will give you a good overview of the subject and an appreciation of how it could be used in different areas of your life.

In this course we will explore how nature works, and how we can work with it to create productive and beautiful gardens, farms and woodland. We will also touch on the wider applications of Permaculture in rural and urban situations.

Course tutor Tomas Remiarz is the author of “Forest Gardening in Practice” and has over 20 years experience in Permaculture design and practice across the UK and various European countries. Over the years, he has been active in many different fields, with an involvement in the restoration of land, buildings and communities. Tomas is currently part of a group developing a 6-acre co-housing site with 3 buildings in Herefordshire.

We do expect people to play fair and to be considerate. We are able to offer courses at the lower rate for those who are unable to pay more because those who can afford to pay choose to pay the full amount. So please, if you are in the fortunate position that you can choose not to work, due to large savings or investments perhaps, then please pay the full course fees and not the rate quoted for those who are unwaged or on low income.

The Concessionary rate - 3 places, available for unemployed, pensioners & students, on a first-come first served basis.

If you have not heard from us within 2 days of submitting the form, please email us ([email protected] ( possibly we have not received your form.) Thank you very much.
